Training
Training:
NRC-FOSS offers training for attempting the FWDE as well as other certifications. The training will consist of two periods of 5 days full time training - Monday to friday, with a gap inbetween. The gap will be for the candidates to practice what they have learnt. If enough candidates are available, we will also offer evening classes or weekend classes.
Syllabus:
The syllabus is:
1. Building virtual hosts with apache/nginx
2. Building a simple web application
3. hosting the application using a version control system
4. Setting up user authentication and email
5. Setting up a database backend
Preparation:
The candidate is expected to know basic web programming, html and css.
